Sketch Like A Professional Interior Designer In 7 Days

Not at all. This course was built for total beginners, the course has been designed to take you step-by-step from your first lines on a blank page to creating pages of professional Design Sketches. We start with simple lines, shapes and basic forms before moving into furniture and full rooms. If you can write your name, you can follow this video guidance. Each step-by-step video guidance is filmed in real-time so you sketch along with me or watch the video and complete the exercise in your own time when you are ready. You may want to copy my exercise pages exactly, but with time, and as your confidence grows, feel free to be creative and create your own exercise page arrangements.

This will ultimately depend on whether you wish to complete each exercise back-to-back, or you feel you want to create multiple exercise pages as you learn to master each sketching Technique to build your sketching Skillset. As a guide, Module 1 'Sketch Confidence' has 7 exercises with 1 hour of video guidance, while Module 2 'Sketch Like A Designer' has 14 exercises with 3.3 hours of video guidance, totalling 4.3 hours (256 mins) of video guidance. I would suggest that you move quickly through Module 1 and complete this within 1 or 2 days. For Module 2, I would suggest you explore and practise 3 to 4 exercises per day, this allows you time to build your skillset over 5 days, this would allow you to complete both modules and finish the course comfortably over 7 days. Ultimately, sketching mastery will take the time it takes; adopt the mindset of enjoying gathering this most essential design skill.

No. A basic pencil and a pad of plain A4 paper is all you need (I used up one whole pencil during the making of this course). If you prefer an iPad or tablet, you can absolutely use that too, the principles are exactly the same.
